It was her first trip to the United States.

Ultimately, both of us give many thanks to various electronic translators.
And thankfully some of my friends and family are more cultured than I.
This was going to be an interesting Thanksgiving.
She flew into Los Angeles. We drove to Salt Lake City.
We stopped in Las Vegas on the way back.
